There is no ministry in the church today more scrutinized and misunderstood than the ministry of a prophet and prophetic ministry.   We believe this is due to the lack of teaching on the subject and healthy demonstration.   As we say, you only get what you teach and people only do what they see. We feel the Lord birthed this seminar in us to primarily help pastors.  We want to work with them and help them train their congregants on healthy, balanced prophetic ministry.  Very, very few pastors have working relationships with prophets.    The key to a balanced relationship between pastors and prophets is what I call the "exchange of mutual grace."  Because people expect prophets to be infallible when they meet them, they are not able to raise up or nuture what might be a budding prophet in their church, nor can they receive prophetic ministry when it doesn't fit their frame of reference.  Giving other ministry gifts equal grace will allow us to receive that gift, imperfect though it may be.  Prophets aren't born mature just as  pastors, evangelists, apostles and teachers aren't.

How to Release Prophetic Ministry Over the last twenty-five years of working with Christians, we have found that there are three areas that need to be addressed in order to release healthy and consistent prophetic ministry. They are: HOW TO HEAR FROM GOD-Many Christians struggle with knowing “who is talking” when trying to hear from God. THE GIFT OF PROPHECY-misunderstanding about what the gift “looks like” causes saints to either go overboard or remain silent. PROPHETIC ETIQUETTE-Operating in a gift is one thing, but using it wisely and effectively is another. Many saints still misuse prophecy out of hurt, anger or rejection, which gives the gift a bad reputation.

#1 Hearing From God
“My sheep hear my voice...” John 10:27. If this is true why is it that we see so little quality prophecy in the church? We believe it’s a lack of training in hearing God’s voice from those who are prophets today.

Most of us have experienced struggling to hear from the Lord at one time or another. So in our first session we lay some groundbreaking teaching that takes the mystery out hearing God by giving practical teaching on how He speaks to humans. This is a life changing session!

We discuss how to listen to the Spirit in different settings, such a personal prayer, praying over others, corporate prayer and the anointing to hear while operating in the gifts.
You will leave this session knowing how to discern God’s voice, your own voice and the voice of the enemy.

#2 The Gift of Prophecy
“…earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy…for you all may prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be exhorted.”
1Corinthians 14:1, 31.  We see from the above verses that God wants us to prophesy, and so we allow those attending to do just that, in a safe, monitored environment where there is feedback.
We teach the parameters of “edification, exhortation and comfort” (1Cor. 14:3) Understandably, many churches can't offer an environment where we can “spread our wings” and miss God in prophesy. We provide sensitive sessions so that you can step out in the gift of prophecy. For many it has been life changing to be used of God in prophecy for the first time!

#3 Prophetic Etiquette
“Earnestly desire to prophesy and do not forbid to speak in tongues, but let all things be done decently and in order” 1Cor. 14:1,39
One of the main reasons we see so little prophecy today in the church is because the gift has been either abused or used out of context. We instruct attendees on possible reasons for an impure flow of prophecy and how to correct it. We also teach on the when, how and where of the gift of prophecy. In addition we discuss what the gift of prophecy IS NOT, since many people confuse words of knowledge, general wisdom or just a lucky guess as prophecy. Because many prophetic personalities are sensitive people, we offer ways for them to stay healthy spiritually and avoid the prophet’s main enemy…rejection.

When Christians are secure in God they almost always practice good prophetic etiquette.

EXTENDED SEMINAR & COUNSELING
Very often people used in prophecy will be sensitive to other gifts. Also some gifts work together in groups, and we have found that prophecy is often accompanied with other “revelation or vocal” gifts. We are used of the Lord on a regular basis in the following gifts and thus, for those who desire more training, we offer sessions on:
